I Am Enough
I have a couple of questions for you. Who would you be if you didn’t know who you are? How many of you would choose to be someone else, and why?
As I ponder these questions, I am happy to say that I can answer them with confidence. I would be exactly who I am today. I know it’s cliché to say that life’s experiences have made me who I am in this very moment, but that is so incredibly true. It’s crazy how life has a way of molding us through all of our imperfections.
Like many of you, I have been through trials, tribulations, and even abusive situations. I have worked through many of my fears, anxieties, and frustrations. It may surprise some of you to know that, no matter hard it has been, I have worked at finding the blessings in each and every uncomfortable, and undesirable, situation.
But I have also been through extreme joy, amazing moments, and glorious triumphs, which have lead me to look at life each and every day as a miracle. I am so incredibly blessed to be able to experience all of my sorrows and all of my joys.
So why would I want to be anyone other than who I am? I know that I AM …. Strong, I AM…Beautiful, I AM…Fearless, I AM…Confident, I AM…Wise, I AM…Successful, I AM AWESOME…AND SO ARE YOU!
Own who you are, every ounce of who you are. There is no one, and I mean NO ONE, just like you. YOU ARE…Unique, YOU ARE…Powerful, YOU ARE…Love; YOU, my friends, ARE…Amazing, YOU ARE…Expressive, YOU ARE…Creative, YOU ARE…Capable, AND YOU ARE…ENOUGH!
Like most of you, I am stronger because of my adversities, wiser because of my mistakes, and happier because of my sad experiences. I have learned to forgive and to enjoy life.
So in the words of Louise Hay, I am worthy of the very best in life, and I now lovingly allow myself to accept it. I hope you do too.
